Sustainable Chemical Approaches for CO2 Reduction: UK-Brazil Newton Fund Researcher Links Workshop

When: 14 – 16 December 2021
Where: Leeds University, UK, linked online with participants from São Paulo, Brazil

The workshop will bring together chemists and chemical engineers working in the fields of carbon dioxide capture, conversion and utilisation working in delivering the use of these technologies and their environmental and societal impacts. Each of these groups will include participants from both Brazil and the UK to build robust networks and share ideas.

We are now inviting Early Career Researchers (ECR) from the UK and São Paulo – Brazil to apply to attend this workshop. The coordinators will select 20 participants each from the UK and Brazil.

To be eligible for consideration, Early Career Researchers must have obtained a PhD within 10 years prior to the workshop. Participants must also have links to UK or Brazil higher education, research institutions or relevant industrial R&D organisations.
