The call for ePSIC (E01 and E02) proposals for AP38.2 is open. The period will cover microscope access between January - March 2026. The deadline for this call is Wednesday 27th August 2025 at 17:00hrs UTC+1/GMT+1. Please note that as this is in working hours the call will be closed at this time. We plan to undertake the reviews during Sept-Oct 2025. If your proposal is awarded time the aim is to schedule it during the second half of the AP38 allocation period, January - March (named AP38.2).

The Expense Procedure funding rules for expenses have been amended according to the updates sent out separately to all users (this will be reduced to two users funded on a session plus one additional user on medium-high risk or complex sessions – starting in AP38 (from 1st April 2025).

Do discuss your planned work with the ePSIC instrument scientists and submit all proposals to UAS. In addition, please ensure that any outstanding reports are submitted, and that your publications related to your previous beamtimes are in our database as the peer review panel will take these into consideration during the review.
