The Dynamic Reaction Monitoring (DReaM) Facility are inviting you to the 7th Reaction Monitoring Symposium at the University of Bath on Thursday 29th January 2026.
This symposium series brings together a diverse community of academics and industrialists with a shared interest in operando techniques, flow chemistry, catalysis, and reaction/process monitoring. We typically have 100 international participants across all career stages from a variety of sectors including instrument manufacturers and software providers. The day will offer opportunities for networking with like-minded individuals and discussing research needs with our exhibitors, as well as exciting scientific talks and poster presentations illustrating the power of real-time reaction monitoring.
Our confirmed speakers for 2026 are:
Prof Patrick Giraudeau , Nantes Université, France - Gradient-based NMR pulse sequences for real-time reaction monitoring
Prof Jana Roithová , Radboud University, Netherlands - Reaction Mechanisms in Electrocatalysis
Dr Dawid Drelinkiewicz, Syngenta UK - Real-time Process Understanding: Harnessing FlowNMR and Online MS in Industry
Dr Filepe Vilela , Heriot-Watt University, UK - Towards Greener Photocatalysis: The Role of Enabling Technologies and Continuous Flow Systems
Dr Rebecca Ruscoe and Dr Sebastian Cosgrove , Keele University, UK - New insights into biocatalysis: Inline high-field NMR analysis of enzymatic transformations
Nouran Hamed , University of Manchester, UK - What is my reaction intermediate? Resolving individual spectra in real-time NMR reaction monitoring
Marcus Shanley , University of Bath, UK - ASOP's Fables: A Tortoise & Hare Race for Mechanistic Understanding
Thanks to our generous sponsors, the event remains free to attend, but please register so we can account for you in the catering numbers. Do sign up as a poster presenter if you’ve done some work in the field of monitoring reactions and would like to present your research, and we will get in touch with you to discuss your abstract.
