Originating from a collaboration between Leiden University, the Leiden University Medical Center, and the Technical University of Munich in 2021, the Virtual ChemBioTalks are an annual, half-day virtual event with world-leading speakers from all sub-disciplines of Chemical Biology. The event is coordinated by an international team of scientific organizers in collaboration with Wiley-VCH. Since 2022, the event has been sponsored by the European Federation for Medicinal Chemistry and Chemical Biology (EFMC). In addition to lectures by leading scientists in the field, the event also features flash talks by PhD candidates and postdocs that are selected from an abstract challenge.
