HarwellXPS and B07 - Near Edge X-Ray Absorption Spectroscopy (NEXAFS) training

The HarwellXPS team at Diamond Light Source, B07 beamline, will run a 2-day workshop to cover the theory, data acquisition and data analysis of NEXAFS data. The training will include basic concepts, hands-on experience with data analysis, acquisition and modelling.
The event is aimed at beginners and those who want to explore the technique to use in their research. A tour is included of the Diamond Light Source, B07 beamline.

The workshop will cover: theoretical background, synchrotron radiation, case studies including operando measurements, instrumentation, modelling peaks, and hands-on data analysis and acquisition.
