Innovate UK Business Connect have just launched three Innovation Exchanges (iXs) challenges this month. iX is a platform we use to connect companies with specific challenges to potential innovators who could have a solution.
There is no funding associated with these challenges as it is more about forging a new innovative collaboration. In both challenges the companies are ideally looking for higher TRL solutions. Can the catalysis community offer solutions:
“The first challenge is for Robinson Brothers who are looking for innovative solutions to reduce Nickel catalyst consumption in a hydrogenation process. The challenge can be found here. The challenge is open for submissions now and the deadline is 27/02/2026 17:00.
The second is Stellantis who are looking for solutions to valorise bio-oil from bio-char pyrolysis, into valuable materials for use back in automotive applications. The challenge can be found here. The challenge is open for solutions to be submitted now and the deadline is 12/02/2026 17:00
The third challenge is also with Stellantis who are seeking solutions to produce sustainable biocoke from the pyrolysis of biomass. The challenge can be found here.
The challenge is open now and closes on the 17/02/2025 17:00
