Northeastern University London invites applications for three Teaching Assistants in Chemistry. The appointees will support teaching of up to two undergraduate Level 4 Chemistry courses:
General Chemistry with Lab
Organic Chemistry with Lab
Bioscience and Chemistry Mobility Courses 2023-24 – Northeastern University London
Appointments will be commensurate with experience and qualifications reflecting a record of demonstrated ability to support teaching.
Core duties include:
- Lead laboratory sessions, under the guidance and/or supervision of subject expert faculty
- Support students during lab sessions, recitation sessions, or both
- Assist with equipment set-up and tear-down during lab sessions
- Marking of formative and summative assignments, commensurate with qualifications
- Complete required training, and attend coordination meetings
- Respond to or forward student queries, as appropriate
