The UK Catalysis Hub congratulates Prof. Charlotte Williams on being awarded an OBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours 2020 for outstanding services in Chemistry. She is recognised internationally for her work on the development of sustainable polymers, including plastics which are biodegradable, recyclable and sourced from waste plants. Charlotte received the Sir John Meurig Thomas Medal from the UK Catalysis Hub in 2017 and is a member of the Management Group for the UK Catalysis Hub.
