The University of Glasgow have an exciting opportunity for a MicroCT facility manager for the new ZEISS Xradia 620 Versa which is being installed now.
The purpose of this post is to lead the installation and set-up, and subsequent day-to-day running and management of the newly established microCT (micro computed tomography) facility within the College Analytical Suite.
In this role, the postholder will provide comprehensive management and senior technical leadership to laboratory users, including PIs, researchers, postgraduate and undergraduate students.
Furthermore, the postholder will provide specialist technical expertise in microCT and be responsible for the planning/design/delivery and safe operation of this specialist technical research facility to optimise research output.
