Join the UK's premier scientific meeting dedicated to catalysis research.
The UK Catalysis Conference 2027 brings together researchers, industry experts, and emerging leaders from across the UK and internationally for a dynamic three-day programme of cutting-edge science, collaboration, and community. Held annually in Loughborough, this flagship event is a must-attend for the catalysis community.
Building on the success of 12 previous conferences, UKCC2026 featured over 80 oral presentations, 13 keynote and plenary lectures, and a vibrant poster session. UKCC 2027 promises another exceptional scientific programme spanning all areas of catalysis — including heterogeneous, homogeneous, electrocatalysis, photocatalysis, and biocatalysis. Includes a dedicated ECR session.
In the UK, we have a longstanding tradition of beginning the new year by bringing the community together for the Catalysis conference.
Speakers include:
Jens Nørskov (TUD & Stanford)
Rinaldo Poli (Toulouse)
Mark Crimmin (Imperial)
Jana Roithová (Nijmegen)
Scott France (Merck US)
Scott Habershon (Warwick)
Haresh Manyar (QUB)
Matthew Jones (Bath)
The 2027 Applied Catalysis Group Award winner
The 2027 John Meurig Thomas Medal winner
Abstracts are invited from across the entire spectrum of catalysis, from organo-catalysis, bio-catalysis, homogeneous and heterogeneous catalysis, to electro and photo-catalysis.
Oral submission: Open, closes 25th September
Poster submission: Deadline 2nd October
