The Young European Catalysis Network (YEuCat)

The Young European Catalysis Network, or short YEuCat, is a new network for undergraduates, graduates, and young early-career professionals, from both academia and industry, who are active in the field of catalysis. Our goal is to build a vivid and diverse network to share knowledge, get inspired, and connect current and future generations of young professionals in catalysis across Europe to jointly address societal and technological challenges.

Background: The idea for YEuCat was born during the 1st Young Scientist Contest organized by the European Federation of Catalysis Societies (EFCATS) in July 2018. Since then we have been working on the concept for a young European network in catalysis.

YEuCat's activities are managed by its core team members, who are supported by the group of extended members in specific task forces targetting an individual event each.
