The UK Catalysis Hub invites expressions of interest to join its Steering Group (SG) as part of Phase III of the programme.
About the Steering Group
The Steering Group plays an important advisory role within the Hub governance structure. It supports the Management Group by:
- Advising on the selection and prioritisation of research projects
- Reviewing and helping to steer ongoing research activities and outcomes
- Contributing to the development of training, events and community engagement
- Ensuring representation across the breadth of the UK catalysis community
The SG includes members from academia, national facilities, industry, and the early career community.
Who should apply?
We welcome applications from individuals across the UK catalysis community, including:
- Academic researchers at all career stages
- Scientists from national facilities
- Industry representatives (large companies and SMEs)
We are particularly keen to ensure diverse representation across disciplines, sectors, career stages and backgrounds.
Term and expectations
- Membership is for a 3-year term (renewable once)
- The SG meets three times per year primarily online, with one in-person meeting per year)
- Members are expected to actively contribute to discussions and attend meetings regularly

- Area(s) of expertise in catalysis
