Hub Governance
The Hub management structure provides flexibility, whilst ensuring good governance. These tried and tested governance, management and advisory structures, established in Hub I-II, will evolve and improve in Hub III driven by pro-active review and community engagement facilitated by the MG. Management and board membership strategies will prioritise membership rotation (flexible terms) to improve inclusivity, risk management and long-term sustainability.
All hub management and operations are the responsibility of the Management Group (MG) which is advised by 4 groups: Steering Group (SG), Early Career Researcher (ECR) Committee, External Advisory Board (EAB) and Industry Advisory Panel (IAP). The overall grant governance is by the oversight board.
Industrial Advisory Panel (IAP)
Chaired by a senior industrialist (Paterson, BP) with representatives from across partner companies. Meets biannually (hybrid/virtual).
Key Roles:
- Provide industry view on catalysis themes
- Co-create research and training
- Advise on technology translation pathways, including follow-on funding, IP and licensing.
- Deliver career mentoring to Hub ECRs
Board Membership
IAP and EAB membership will be refreshed through developing partnerships across the industrial and International landscapes, respectively.
