The four interrelated Hub III themes of the hub are:
- Net Zero
- Sustainability
- Digital Chemistry
- Advanced Characterization
The UK Catalysis Hub will create a range of projects around the UK in the key priority areas above. The projects will involve PDRA funding for twelve-month projects.
The Catalysis Hub supports internationally leading multi-disciplinary multi-institution collaborative research projects where scientific excellence is the first criteria. The Hub encourages applicants to seek out industrial support and leverage if it is relevant to the science proposed prior to the application.
What are our expectations:
- Scientific quality: scientific excellence is the primary criteria
- Collaboration: projects are multi-disciplinary and multi-institution
-
Aligned with the Catalysis Hub ethos and science themes
- Why, what and where: It is essential to specify why funding from the Hub is required and appropriate as opposed to other UKRI funding mechanisms.
What we will support:
- PDRA for a maximum duration of 12 months of Hub funding
-
Access to infrastructure and facilities
-
Hub community events
What you should consider
