Applications are invited for a 2-year Postdoctoral Research Associate position to work with Dr. Amit Kumar at the School of Chemistry, University of St. Andrews on the topics of organometallic chemistry, homogeneous catalysis, and polymer chemistry. This is an exciting opportunity to join a new and dynamic research group. We are interested in using the tools of organometallic catalysis to impact hydrogen and circular economies. The project aims to develop new organometallic catalysts and methodologies for the synthesis and recycling of renewable plastics. This role is available on a fixed-term basis for 2 years (with a possibility of extension) and is available to start on the 1st October 2022 or as soon as possible thereafter. Hours of work are full-time (36.25 hours). Flexible working hours may be discussed. Salary: £34,304 – £37,467 per annum.
