Simon Kondrat received his master degree from the University of Warwick (UK) in 2007. He then completed his PhD at the Cardiff Catalysis Institute with Prof. Graham Hutchings on the preparation of catalysts using supercritical fluids. Following his PhD he worked as a post-doctoral researcher at Cardiff University and the UK Catalysis Hub. Simon has recently taken a position as lecturer in inorganic chemistry at Loughborough of University. His research interests include the preparation and advanced in situ characterisation of heterogeneous catalysts, for application in a range of gas and liquid phase reactions.
