Postdoctoral Research Associate in gas absorption at University of Manchester

The University of Manchester is seeking to appoint a Postdoctoral Research Associate in gas absorption for 15 months

This industrially funded postdoctoral research associate (PDRA) will be conducted in the Department of Chemical Engineering in the University of Manchester and is aimed at developing a new generation of CO2 absorbent materials.  The PDRA position will include both experimental work covering evaluation of the CO2 uptake capacity and recyclability, interference effects with other gases, the mechanism of the absorption process and modelling of the process flow sheet for industrial application.
